Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in welding techniques, with the ability to fabricate and assemble components from sheet metal.
Responsibilities
The role will include, but is not limited to;
- Perform welding tasks to assemble parts securely
- Light fabrication works
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Ensuring quality control by inspecting welds and finished products for adherence to standards
- Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience in welding (fabrication experience is also desirable)
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Rate of pay dependent on experience.
We are happy to consider work related experience as an alternative to formal qualifications.
A CSCS Card is required for this role, training will be provided if the candidate does not hold a current accreditation.
A full UK driving license is preferred.
This role may include travelling for work on occasion, with overnight accommodation, paid travel time and generous stop-out allowances provided by the company.
Overtime and weekend work available with opportunities to progress within the company.
