We are seeking a passionate and skilled Locitian specializing in Sisterlocs, Microlocs, Traditional Locs, and Afro hairstylist to join our dynamic team. This energetic role involves providing expert hair styling services, educating clients on hair care, and creating personalized looks that celebrate natural beauty. Duties
- Perform precise installation and styling of Sisterlocs, Microlocs, Traditional Locs, and various Afro hairstyles with attention to detail and hair health.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, recommend suitable styles, and educate them on maintenance routines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport, listening actively, and addressing client needs professionally.
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair care products to enhance client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques and best practices to promote skill development.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in styling Sisterlocs, Microlocs, Traditional Locs, and Afro hairstyles with a portfolio demonstrating your craftsmanship.
- Strong background in store management or salon operations is preferred.
- Skilled in barbering techniques and providing diverse hair services to meet various client needs.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in customer service roles with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is a plus for offering comprehensive beauty services.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a positive client experience.
