Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Supervisor to join our Supervisor to oversee daily store operations between Spennymoor and Newton Aycliffe (as required). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing food production and preparation, as well as supervising staff to create a welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage café staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
- Oversee food and production processes
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on drink preparation techniques, safety practices, and customer service skills.
- Ensure cleaning standards are maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure all paperwork is signed off an updated regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a café or restaurant setting.
- Full Driving Licence
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in hospitality, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
