Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Plumber to join our team full time as a sub-contractor, The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across our commercial and domestic properties in and around Leicester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plumbing. The position involves working with various tools and equipment, ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times.
Pay is £160 per day paid weekly plus fuel
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, in domestic and commercial properties
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, to carry out repairs and modification.
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and related infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and parts replaced.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, including risk assessments and hazard controls.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing maintenance
- Proficiency in welding, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- knowledge relevant to plumbing installations and repairs.
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces.
- Valid driving licence
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: £160.00 per day
