We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our established staffing team within our open children's home, supporting a young person to feel safe, valued and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
The Role
You will take overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the home, working alongside a dedicated and experienced staff team.
You will:
Lead, support and develop the residential team.
- Create a safe, warm and nurturing home environment.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management and care planning.
- Ensure care is trauma-informed and centred around the young person's needs.
- Maintain high standards of recording, compliance and practice.
- Work closely with social workers, families and other professionals.
- Drive positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the home remains Ofsted-ready and meets regulatory requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in children's residential care and management.
- Confident leading and developing a staff team.
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding, regulations and quality standards.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
- Calm, organised, emotionally intelligent and approachable.
- Level 5 qualified in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).

Experience:
- leadership role in childrens home: 2 years (preferred)
- Ofsted regualted childrens home: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential childcare (preferred)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (preferred)
