Key Details:
Hours: 20 hours/ week (which is subject to change after probation). The shift is 2pm to 6pm.
Pay: £12.25/hr
Location: We’re located in the centre of Wimbledon, just 5 mins away from the main train station
Main responsibility: To assist the room supervisor with the daily running of the room and help to provide a stimulating home from home environment and activities that promote early learning.
Responsibilities:
- Support your colleagues in the planned activities, during the afternoon hours of 2-6pm
- Uphold our quality of care within the nursery to ensure that all children are nurtured in a positive environment.
- Communicate with carers during handover to develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents/carers
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness, health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by your room leader.

- Previous experience working with children is ideal
- Strong team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Willingness to support colleagues
- Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to think on their feet
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with children and parents.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.
