Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Firestopper with experience in FireFly Fire Curtain systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing the fire-resistant curtains designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings. Your expertise will contribute to creating safer environments while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install FireFly Fire Curtain systems according to schematics, technical drawings, and safety protocols
- Use hand tools, power tools to fit fire curtain components accurately
- Collaborate with project managers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes
- Follow all safety procedures during installation to maintain a safe work environment
- Document work progress through detailed reports and update project records regularly
Skills
- Proven experience in FireFly fire curtain installation and passive fire protection
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and fire strategies
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and installation instructions
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across trades
