Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to lead our quality management systems, ensure adherence to industry standards, and uphold the highest levels of product safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence our manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic tissue production environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate quality audits internally and externally to identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and validation of tissue products throughout manufacturing stages.
- Manage non-conformance issues by investigating root causes, implementing corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.
- Facilitate training programs for staff on quality systems, regulatory updates, and best practices in quality assurance.
- Collaborate with production teams to integrate quality assurance measures seamlessly into daily operations and project management initiatives.
- Health & Safety Leadership:
- Lead the site’s Health & Safety initiatives, including conducting risk assessments and maintaining accident/near-miss logs.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with current Health & Safety regulations alongside our quality standards.
- Develop and deliver essential H&S training (e.g., manual handling, PPE usage) to production staff.
- Investigate any safety incidents or quality non-conformances to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in tissue or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001 standards, and quality audit procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality inspections, audits, and continuous improvement projects effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and implement data-driven solutions.
