Now Education is partnering with a number of friendly and supportive mainstream primary schools across the Liverpool area that are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for a range of opportunities starting in September and October 2026.
Whether you're looking for your next long-term role or hoping to secure a permanent position through a temp-to-perm route, we have opportunities across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to suit your experience and preferences.
The Roles:
Depending on your experience and the school's requirements, your role may involve:
- Supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including children with SEND
- Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Helping pupils access learning through inclusive classroom support
- Working closely with teachers and SENDCOs to help every child reach their full potential

We're Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Are caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are passionate about helping children develop both academically and socially
