Deputy Security Operations Manager
Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468pa inclusive of London allowance
Hours of duty: 35 hrs per week, Mon – Fri 10:00 – 18:00
During term time regular coverage of school activities including conferences and public events during the evenings will be required
The post is that of Deputy Security Operations Manager within the Security Section of the Estates Division at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The post holder reports directly to the Head of Security.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of Security Operations and for the administration and operational policies and procedures relating to the work of the security section. The role involves the management of staff, equipment and training for a busy operational section.
A suitable candidate should have:
- Extensive experience at security team leader level working in Higher Education
- Good oral & written communication in the English language
- Sound and effective leadership skills and ability to motivate staff.
- Ability to deal effectively with emergencies and incidents
