Full job description

Location: Wincanton, Somerset, BA9 8HA

We are recruiting for a part-time customer service assistant to work at Otter Garden Centre, Wincanton. This is a part-time working 4 days per week in our Furniture & Christmas departments.

Requirements

Duties will include:

Using the tills
Helping customers with product enquiries and taking orders
Using your detailed knowledge of the products in your department to increase sales
Ensuring product layout is maintained to high standards
Stock management, which will include managing all stock orders and deliveries
Merchandising stock in line with company guidelines

The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent customer service & communication skills
Be computer literate including Excel and PowerPoint
Have warehouse experience including picking and packing of stock
Be a strong team player
Able to work on your own using your initiative
Fork lift experience is desirable

Please note this role will involve heavy lifting.

Hours

This is a part-time role to work 4 days per week:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 9am – 5pm
