Location: 5 minute walk from Tottenham Court Road
Salary: £14.86 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time
Working Hours: 32 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Thursday
Start Date: ASAP
Holiday Entitlement: 23 days including bank holidays
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef with breakfast and lunch preparation, help keep service running smoothly, and assist with simple food service during busy periods. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their culinary career who’s keen to learn, stay organised, and be part of a friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Head Chef to support breakfast and lunch set-up and preparation
- Help maintain a well-stocked, clean and presentable food counter
- Replenish items on the counter throughout service to support the Front of House team
- Serve food during busy periods, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous Chef de Partie experience is helpful but not essential
- Ideal background: Commis Chef level or a recent culinary graduate
- A genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop
- Basic level of English and the ability to understand and follow instructions from the Head Chef
- A calm, can-do attitude, especially during busy periods
