We are looking to recruit experienced care workers with passion for delivering empathetic and exceptional care to young service users with learning disability, mental health, autism or complex needs.
You will work as part of a dynamic and energetic team providing support to service users including helping them to develop independence skills and to be actively engaged within the community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, drive positive outcomes, and assist in implementing care plans. As a care worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in a home care setting.
To be considered for this role, you will need a positive approach, a sense of humour with lots of energy and enthusiasm.
You will be able to demonstrate:

Essential
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (candidates without this must demonstrate a willingness to pursue and obtain such qualification)
- Ability to safeguard, and promote the welfare of service users.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, to produce written reports or to contribute to reports written by others
- Be able to cook and clean and maintain a warm and comforting environment
- Flexibility to respond to the needs of service users
- Ability to work effectively and with confidence under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience of multi-agency working
- Experience of supporting transition
- Ability to identify and control risk
- Full current driving licence
