Job Title: Sales Support Executive
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Location: Christchurch / Hybrid working (2 days working from home following induction)
Hours: 37.5 hours

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Support Executive to play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and supporting the sales team.
As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you will need to provide a positive impression of Mar-key Group.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, tenacious, an excellent communicator, particularly on the phone, eager to learn and is interested in developing a career in sales.
Role Purpose
- Support the sales team with admin, CRM support and provide initial quotes to customers
- Nurture new business leads, ensuring the client has a positive experience of the brand from ‘first point of call’
- Bring new quality leads into the business, working with marketing to use a targeted approach to outbound sales
- Make a positive contribution to the team by supporting the sales and marketing function to deliver objectives
Key responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Support
- Admin support for the sales team
- Provide CRM support to the sales team where necessary
- Provide initial pricing to prospects
- Communicate with prospects
- Produce and circulate reports as required
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify target markets
- Implement campaigns to successfully target new business opportunities
- Call and email target prospects
- Utilise social media to share Company posts and generate own content to promote the business
- Create meetings with prospects and the sales team
- Provide cover for handling inbound leads
- Be the first point of contact for new business leads, handling them confidently and professionally
Lead Nurture
- Gain a detailed brief of the client’s requirements and timelines
- Update the team on lead progress
- Escalate all leads with strategic importance, bespoke requirements or those with time-critical deadlines
- Provide a consultative, positive and problem-solving approach
- Assist the sales team with the reignition of leads and opportunities
- Ensure the CRM is always current and up-to-date, with full visibility and traceability of all enquiries
General
- Represent the business and brand at all times
- Support other the Sales and Marketing team during busy times
- Carry out any reasonable duties required by the business
Essential skills, experience and attributes
- A confident, self-motivated approach with a result-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills, especially on the phone
- A creative individual, able to contribute new business ideas
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of all work
- Excellent organisation and planning skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- An enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude with an ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business
- Previous experience working within a sales environment (office, retail or hospitality) is desirable
- Previous experience using HubSpot would be advantageous
