We are now looking for a Chef to join our team in Scaplens Court Old Town Poole.
Key Responsibilities:
Cook Breakfast , Light Lunches and make a range of sandwiches for the Salt Pig Group.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations on site .
Ability to work well under pressure.
BACKGROUND: We are a growing family-led company who have urban farm shops / cafes / butchery's alongside a busy outside catering section in the beautiful Purbecks, Poole and at Chesil Beach. We are proud of each of our unique locations and the close relationships we have with our local suppliers. We have a small farm with our own rarebreed Mangalista / Berkshire pigs, sheep, White Park beef cows and goats as well as buying more animals from local Purbeck farms and local day boat fisherman. We are involved in rewilding projects too with our pigs roaming the RSPB nature reserve as part of their rewilding project. We are provenance and localism at its best - complete tracibility from local farms and fisherman delivered onto plates.
