Summary
We are seeking a driven and customer service orientated individual to join our team in this entry level inside sales position. This role will support and assist the team in the effective processing and execution of quotations and orders as well as general administration activities.
Full training will be given, the most important attribute is a willingness to learn!
Responsibilities
- Review and triage all incoming invoices across multiple entities and countries with accuracy and efficiency.
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries, develop accounts, and generate quotes;
- Ensure that sales orders are entered in line with agreed procedure;
- Ensure that business systems and tools, including ERP and CRM, are used effectively and in line with company policies and procedures;
- Complete data entry and order processing activities
- Upload commercial documents upload into customer web portals;
- Filing of sales related documentation and communications in in line with agreed practices and in accordance with ISO approved quality system requirements;
- Troubleshoot / problem solve issues, escalating any urgent issues immediately to the Sales Supervisor/Manager;
- Assist in the prompt closing out of any invoicing issues;
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on working safely;
- Participate in meetings and training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge;
- Work with internal departments to set up and maintain accurate customer files;
- Provide prompt responses to internal and external customers, vendors, and branch inquiries;
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be delegated by management that are within the capabilities of the Junior Inside Sales Representative;
Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
- Completion of high school education as a minimum;
- Experience working in a customer service, sales office, engineering and/or manufacturing environment is preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proven track record of working to tight deadlines;
- Computer literate – proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is advantageous
- Target driven, with a desire to provide exceptional customer service;
- Reliable, punctual and professional with a strong work ethic;
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to work under own initiative.
