Framfield House Surgery are recruiting a part time receptionist/administrator to work in the Practice on a 6 -12 month fixed term contract with the opportunity of a permanent position after this time.
The main duties will include;
- Work on our front desk to greet patients face to face/make appointmentt
- Deal efficiently with patient queries
- Answer incoming calls to make appointments/deal with queries
- Make outgoing calls to patients and other organisations as necessary
- Support the team with administrative duties applicable to the role
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Support the team by working in an efficient and effective way
- Participate in staff meetings
- Good team player
- Have outstanding customer service
- Possess good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Have an excellent and confident telephone manner whilst remaining empathetic and understanding the need for strict confidentiality
- Possess good organisation skills
- Knowledge of SystmOne is preferred and experience of working within a primary care setting would be an advantage.
The successful applicant should have good organisational skills and be enthusiastic to provide an efficient timely service.
