We are looking for a Head of Security Operations who can take ownership of operational security performance across multiple sites and client accounts. This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how to manage security teams, improve service standards, reduce risk, and maintain professional protection services.
You will work closely with senior management, site supervisors, security officers, clients, contractors, and local partners to make sure security operations are delivered safely, consistently, and to a high standard. You will be expected to lead teams, review risks, improve procedures, manage incidents, and support long term client confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
Security Operations Leadership:
Oversee daily security operations across assigned sites, teams, and client accounts. Make sure services are delivered professionally, safely, and in line with agreed standards.
Team Management:
Lead security supervisors, officers, coordinators, and operational support staff. Provide guidance, performance feedback, and practical support to maintain strong team standards.
Risk and Incident Management:
Review site risks, respond to incidents, investigate concerns, and support practical actions that improve safety, security, and operational control.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, senior management, and external partners. Provide clear updates on service performance, risks, and improvement plans.
Compliance and Procedures:
Ensure security teams follow company procedures, assignment instructions, health and safety expectations, licensing requirements, and client site rules.
Service Quality:
Monitor patrol standards, reporting quality, attendance, incident handling, and customer service. Identify areas for improvement and take action where needed.
Reporting and Performance Review:
Prepare reports on operational performance, incidents, staffing, client feedback, risks, and improvement actions. Use data and site feedback to guide better decisions.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in security operations, facilities security, risk management, corporate security, site protection, or a similar operational leadership role.
Leadership:
Previous experience managing security supervisors, officers, contractors, multi site teams, or client accounts is strongly preferred.
Security Operations Skills:
Strong understanding of site security, incident management, risk assessment, patrol procedures, reporting standards, and operational planning.
Compliance Awareness:
Good knowledge of security procedures, health and safety standards, licensing expectations, site instructions, and client service requirements.
Communication:
You can communicate clearly and professionally with clients, senior management, supervisors, frontline teams, contractors, and external partners.
Problem Solving:
You are confident handling incidents, staffing issues, client concerns, site risks, urgent operational changes, and service quality problems.
Mindset:
You are calm, organised, accountable, and safety focused. You know how to balance risk control, team performance, client confidence, and professional service delivery.
Pay: £4,600.00-£5,900.00 per month
