Henllan Bakery is one of the UK's leading independent Wholesale Craft Bakers. We are looking for a skilled Driver to join our growing team.
The successful person will form an integral part of the Transport Department, working together to provide excellent customer service for our wide-ranging customer base, which includes retail chains, independent cafes and delis to pubs, schools and hospitals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To start with, you will be supported with training for your route, typically just over a week.
- A confident driver with experience in navigating around North and Mid Wales.
- Have a clean UK driving license.
- Ideally have multi-drop experience.
- Be a safe and diligent driver adhering to the highway code and minimizing damage to company vehicles.
- Your shift will generally start at around 3 am so your late mornings and afternoons will be your own.
- You will also enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver you’ll be given delivery notes, from which you’ll accurately load your vehicle with our products.
- Your route for the day will be pre set
- Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service, that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations and on occasion, be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand.
- You will work a defined rota 5 mornings a week. Those mornings being every Monday to Saturday including Bank Holidays.
