Overview
We are seeking a Full Time dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our small friendly team based in Allestree. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, strong organisational abilities, and effective communication skills to support our team in delivering high-quality dental services.
We are a fully Private Practice and offer a range of Private treatments including Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics. We are a three-surgery practice consisting of 4 dentists and 2 hygienists
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support infection control protocols by sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Offer compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and providing reassurance throughout their visit
Experience
- Knowledge of patient care procedures specific to dentistry
- Proficiency in IT systems related to dental record management and appointment scheduling
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and external providers
- Organisational skills necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Fluency in English is essential for clear communication with patients and team members
