Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department within school. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, an understanding of the schooling system and will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage various HR systems effectively. You will work alongside the Executive Leadership Team as a PA alongside the HR role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Ensure the school single central record is kept to an outstanding level
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews using ATS systems such as Taleo and Workday.
- Manage employee onboarding, training, and development programmes to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Supervise the HR team to ensure efficient operations and support for employees across the organisation.
- Maintain and update systems to ensure accurate employee records and reporting.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in legislation that may affect the organisation.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Support Executive Leaders with PA assistance such as diary management, administration and organisation
Skills
- Proven experience in a human resources management role with strong supervisory capabilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft and Workday; familiarity with ATS platforms like Taleo is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation while maintaining confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.

Pay: £30,001.41-£60,036.00 per year
