We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing stock items and assembling components to support our production assembly line. Full training will be provided, although previous manufacturing or assembly experience would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, strip and crimp wires accurately using templates and work instructions.
- Assemble stock components using screws, washers and other fixings.
- Prepare and manufacture stock items ready for the production assembly line.
- Follow technical drawings, templates and assembly instructions.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all components meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Report any quality issues or shortages to the production supervisor.
The Ideal Candidate
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Able to follow written instructions and assembly templates accurately.
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in production, assembly, wiring or manufacturing is desirable but not essential.

Expected working hours
- Monday – Thursday 07:30am to 16:30pm.
- Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm.
- 2x 15-minute tea breaks daily – paid
- 30-minute lunch break daily – unpaid.
