Taskmaster are recruiting an experienced Class 1 RORO Tipper driver to join our client based in Doncaster on a Temp to Perm contract.
Our client are continuing to grow significantly and always keen to attract talented new individuals to join our business.
We are looking for a HGV Driver Class 1 to drive and operate a RORO Tipper, collect from own sites and dispose of cardboard waste at various tipping points.
The ideal candidate will:
- Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws
- Pre-inspect vehicle, report any defects in a timely manner for rectification
- Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage in line with company procedure
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Full training will be given
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Good communication skills
- HGV Class 1 Driving Licence
- UK Driver CPC and UK Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Competent English language skills for safety compliance (speaking, reading and writing) and basic arithmetic
