Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, supporting their daily needs, and promoting their well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in adhering to individual care plans tailored to their specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Support clients with light domestic tasks and meal preparation where required
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for all
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Familiarity with creating or following care plans is advantageous
- Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between different locations
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
