About Brummie & Brew
Brummie & Brew is a growing independent coffee business built around great coffee, great people and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Our speciality coffee trailer is busy, fast-paced and all about serving consistently great drinks while creating a friendly experience for every customer. We’re now looking for a full-time barista to join our team and become an important part of the next stage of Brummie & Brew.
The Role
As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality speciality coffee and excellent customer service throughout every shift.
You’ll be working on our busy coffee trailer, preparing everything from espresso-based drinks and milk-based drinks to matcha and seasonal drinks, while keeping the trailer clean, organised and running smoothly.
You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your coffee knowledge and barista skills as the business continues to grow.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality speciality coffee to our recipes and standards
- Dialling in and adjusting the espresso grinder throughout the day
- Preparing espresso, milk-based drinks, matcha and seasonal drinks
- Providing friendly, confident and efficient customer service
- Taking orders and handling payments accurately
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and food hygiene standards
- Keeping the trailer stocked, organised and ready for service
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality
- Supporting the wider Brummie & Brew team wherever needed
- Representing the Brummie & Brew brand positively at all times

- Keen to learn and develop their coffee skills
- Able to maintain high standards even when we’re really busy
Previous barista experience is preferred, particularly experience working with speciality coffee, but attitude, personality and a willingness to learn are just as important.
