We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues with vehicles and machinery
- Perform comprehensive maintenance, repairs, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct equipment inspections and report defects to the branch manager
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper handling of heavy parts or equipment to maintain safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role with strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and diagrams accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair standards
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
