We are a growing creative agency working with aesthetic, beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands. We are looking for a confident, organised and creative Social Media Manager / Content Creator to support with the planning, creation and management of social media content for multiple client accounts.
This role would suit someone who understands Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends, but also has a strong eye for branding, detail and consistency.
You will be supporting with content planning, scheduling, captions, engagement and general social media management. There may also be opportunities to attend content days, assist with filming and visit client locations to capture content for social media.
This is a varied role, so we are looking for someone who is creative, reliable, organised and confident working across different brands. You should be comfortable using Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, writing captions in different tones of voice, and keeping content professional, consistent and on brand.
You do not need to be a professional photographer or videographer, but you should have a good eye for content, understand what performs well on social media, and be confident capturing clean, on brand footage using a phone.
As part of the role, you may support on content days and client shoots. This could include helping capture behind the scenes content, filming short form video clips, taking photos, organising shot lists, helping clients feel comfortable on camera, and supporting the creative direction on the day.
There may also be opportunities to visit client locations independently to capture content, so confidence with filming on a phone, following a brief and representing the agency professionally is important.
The ideal person will have good spelling and grammar, a strong eye for angles, lighting, trends and social first content, and be comfortable working across multiple client accounts. You should be able to take direction, work independently when needed, follow a brief, and also bring creative ideas to the table.
Experience with tools such as Canva, Notion, CapCut, Google Drive, Meta Business Suite or scheduling platforms would be beneficial.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and scheduling social media posts across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
Writing captions in the correct tone of voice for different brands
Helping plan monthly content calendars
Researching trends, hooks, audio ideas and content inspiration
Supporting with Instagram stories, reels and carousel content
Checking scheduled content for accuracy, spelling, branding and consistency
Helping organise content assets, folders and client materials
Supporting with engagement, community management and inbox responses where needed
Assisting on content days and client shoots
Capturing short-form video content for Reels, TikTok and Stories
Taking behind the scenes clips and social first footage
Helping clients feel comfortable in front of the camera
Following shot lists and creative briefs
Visiting client locations to capture content when required
Organising content files after shoots
Suggesting creative ideas for future content days
Working closely with the agency founder and creative team to deliver high-quality content for clients
Experience:
Previous social media experience is preferred, but not essential if you can show a strong understanding of content, trends and branding.
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok or content scheduling tools would be beneficial.
About the role:
This is a flexible part time role starting from around 5 hours per week, with the potential to increase up to a full time position with upto 20/30 guarnteed hours per week as the role develops.
Hours may vary depending on client workload, scheduling requirements and content days. Some weeks may be lighter, and some may require additional hours for shoots, planning or client content capture.
You will be working with a growing creative agency, supporting a range of exciting brands and helping to create content that feels professional, engaging and aligned with each client’s goals.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
