Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly to maintain a tidy environment
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items to support daily operations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures diligently to ensure consistency
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled times
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately
- In line with our safeguarding policy, the successful candidate will need to complete a PVG and provide 3 references
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
