As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our specialist division focused on infrastructure and structured cabling solutions.
The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and commercially driven Infrastructure & Cabling Sales Specialist with expertise in fibre and structured cabling (CAT6 and above). This role focuses on designing, scoping, and selling tailored infrastructure solutions, while supporting both internal sales teams and key client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with larger organisations, channel partners, and technology-focused clients
- Identify new business opportunities and support the growth of existing accounts
- Design and propose fibre and structured cabling solutions (CAT6 and above)
- Prepare detailed quotes and solution proposals aligned to client requirements
- Work closely with telesales, territory sales, and technical solution teams
- Support telesales and field sales teams on opportunities, client meetings, and technical discussions
- Deliver expert advice and guidance on infrastructure projects
- Meet and exceed sales and quoting targets
- Stay up to date with cabling standards, technologies, and industry trends

Top-Level Sales Approach
- Work with marketing to identify and target key accounts
- Apply structured account segmentation (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 based on turnover)
- Leverage targeted and specialist data to drive opportunities
- Align with strategic marketing initiatives to support pipeline growth
- Act as the subject matter expert within the sales organisation
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in infrastructure, fibre, or structured cabling sales
- Strong knowledge of CAT6, CAT6a, fibre optics, and network infrastructure design
- Experience scoping and building technical solutions for clients
- Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial proposals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with internal sales teams and supporting complex deals
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- A full UK driving licence may be required
