Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Services Representative for Ideal Parts.This varied role involves being an ambassador for the Company as a member of the Ideal Spares Admin Team. You will promote the business at all times in dealing with both external suppliers’ and internally as the source of engineer inventory and equipment control. Your communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail will be paramount in this role.
Key Responsibilities: -
- To work within a team to manage inbound and outbound Ideal Parts’ administration activity, via electronic media and the telephone.
- To process customer orders on SAP in an efficient and effective manner
- Provide an expert inventory monitoring service for the Service function, ensuring the best possible engineers stock accuracy.
- To demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Ideal Parts’ products to ensure customer order satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate spares information both internally and on the spares website.
- Assist in the lifecycle management of spare parts, pricing and obsolescence.
- Resolve delivery and invoice discrepancies including the processing of subsequent documentation.
- Assist in managing engineer equipment lifecycle.
- Work with external providers to ensure that equipment is maintained and calibrated efficiently.
- Maintaining comprehensive asset records to ensure all necessary equipment is recorded and tracked.
- Assist in the scheduling and management of engineer van audits, including performing occasional audits.
- Provide PPE as required to engineers, including sourcing from agreed suppliers where required.
- Provide Fleet admin support as and where required to maintain accurate records and an efficient Fleet function.

- Experience of using computer-based systems.
- The ability to read, understand and process data efficiently and accurately.

- A high standard of numeracy, literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
Experience of SAP and Microsoft Office Applications would be an advantage, although training will be provided to the successful candidate. Full clean driving licence would be beneficial. Awareness of Engineers technical equipment including Gas Analysers, Manometers etc would be advantageous but not essential.
