Part-on Group Holdings is an established UK engineering business specialising in industrial fastening solutions, tooling, manufacturing equipment and bespoke fabrication projects.
Our business supports manufacturers across the UK through two key areas:
- Industrial Products – supplying rivets, rivet nuts, fastening systems, rivet tooling and automation, repairs and technical support.
- Manufacturing Solutions – designing and manufacturing bespoke production equipment, workstations, aluminium profile systems and engineering solutions.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Internal Sales & Customer Account Manager to join our team in Birmingham.
This is a customer-focused commercial role for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving opportunities forward and ensuring customers receive excellent service from enquiry through to delivery.
The Role
You will become a key point of contact for our customers, supporting the sales process and ensuring opportunities progress smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to order completion.
- Preparing quotations and actively following up opportunities.
- Building relationships with existing customers and identifying repeat sales opportunities.
- Proactively chasing outstanding quotations and purchase orders.
- Keeping customers updated on lead times, delivery dates and any challenges.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to understand progress and identify potential delays.
- Escalating issues early and ensuring customers receive clear communication.
- Supporting the sales team with account management and customer development.
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding availability, pricing and lead times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, organised and proactive.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in internal sales, sales support, customer account management or technical sales.
- Experience working with business customers, preferably within manufacturing, engineering or industrial products.
- Confidence speaking with customers and building strong relationships.
- The ability to chase opportunities and drive actions through to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to take ownership.
Experience That Would Be Advantageous
- Engineering, manufacturing or industrial sales background.
- Knowledge of fasteners, tooling, fabrication or technical products.
- Experience managing quotations and customer accounts.
- Experience working with production teams and understanding manufacturing lead times.
