The Role
As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for teaching a KS1 or KS2 class, depending on your experience and strengths.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations
- Working closely with parents, support staff and the senior leadership team
- Using technology, including Google Classroom, to enhance learning
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of pupils and the school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a UK mainstream primary school
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Confidence using educational technology, including Google Classroom, or the ability to quickly learn new systems
- A nurturing, adaptable and proactive approach
- Flexibility and resilience within a dynamic school environment
