Bar Supervisor
We’re a multi-award-winning country pub, restaurant and events venue, and at The Chester Fields we do things a little differently.
We’re looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor with strong front of house skills who is passionate about hospitality, great service and creating an excellent guest experience. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow as part of a supportive, close-knit team and who enjoys taking responsibility in a busy environment.
You’ll be working alongside a strong management and front of house team, in an environment that values ideas, energy and doing things properly. We’re proud of our team culture and high staff retention, offering a good work-life balance and a friendly, positive place to work.
This role would suit an experienced Bar Supervisor who is ready to take the next step in their career, or someone with strong FOH experience looking for an opportunity to develop their management skills. Genuine opportunities for progression are available for the right person.
You’ll need to stay calm under pressure, lead by example, have excellent attention to detail and be confident managing a busy bar and front of house operation. Most importantly, you’ll need a great attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
The role
- Supervising the bar and front of house team during service
- Leading by example and maintaining high service standards
- Supporting the wider management team with the day-to-day running of the venue
- Helping to train, develop and motivate team members
- Ensuring guests receive an excellent experience from arrival to departure
- Supporting busy services, functions and events
- Managing the bar efficiently and ensuring standards are maintained
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures and daily operations
We’re located just outside Chester, so your own transport is essential.
