The duties of this post could vary from time to time as a result of new legislation, changes in technology or policy changes, should there be such variation, appropriate training may be given to enable the postholder to undertake the new/varied work.
What you will need:
excellent people management and development skills.
expertise in working with E3 to Level 3 vocational plumbing and heating qualifications, Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship standards and commercial gas
ability to build and develop effective and sustainable relationships with employers, awarding organisations, and industry partners
creative and innovative approaches which deliver an exceptional student experience and student outcomes.
As part of this role, you will also be required to undertake some teaching hours; therefore, you should also be able to demonstrate proven teaching expertise in a related subject area.
You should also hold a relevant degree or level 3/4 professional qualification in Plumbing and Domestic Heating/Building Services Engineering, maths and English at level 2 or equivalent, alongside a teaching qualification at level 5

This is an excellent career opportunity to join the management team at Suffolk New College. This role will require you to lead on the operational and strategic aspects of our Plumbing and Heating programmes within Directorate of Engineering, Construction and Building Technology (ECBT).
