Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property, Housing and Estate Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of residential and commercial properties within our portfolio. This role is vital in ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and operational efficiency is maximized. The ideal candidate will bring energy, organization, and a passion for property management to create a positive living and working environment for all residents and stakeholders.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Coordinate property inspections, repairs, and upgrades to ensure safety standards and quality benchmarks are met
- Oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, lease documentation, and record keeping using property management software like Yardi
- Handle inquiries from tenants or residents via phone or email with professional phone etiquette, providing timely solutions or information
- Conduct regular estate inspections to monitor cleanliness, security, and overall condition of the properties
- Support upselling opportunities by promoting additional services or upgrades to tenants or prospective clients
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and projects
Skills
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms
- Strong office experience with excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
- Proven administrative experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining organized records
- Experience in upselling services or upgrades to enhance tenant satisfaction and revenue streams
- Knowledge of estate management practices, building codes, safety regulations, and property maintenance standards
