Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Concrete Site Supervisor to lead and oversee a concrete construction project from start to finish. The Concrete Supervisor will be working on a military base In Lincolnshire and paid an hourly rate of £25ph (Dependent on experience), this role will require you to coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise a team of skilled Concrete Finishers and ensure that all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines. Your expertise in concrete work combined with strong management skills will drive a successful project execution and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all concrete-related activities on construction sites, including pouring, finishing, curing, and formwork
- Lead and manage a team of concrete workers, ensuring clear communication of tasks and safety protocols
- Schedule daily work activities, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet project timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all phases of concrete work
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan workflows and resolve on-site issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in concrete construction or related heavy civil projects
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, safety practices, and quality control measures
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans accurately
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies consistently
