We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical General Labourer to join our team and play an important part in bringing our projects to life.
You’ll work alongside skilled tradespeople across a range of residential building and refurbishment projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in doing a good job, enjoys working as part of a team and wants to develop their skills within the construction industry. The role will involve:
- General labouring duties across building, remodelling and refurbishment projects
- Preparing and clearing work areas before, during and after works
- Loading, unloading and moving materials, tools and equipment
- Assisting skilled tradespeople and other members of the team
- Mixing and preparing materials such as cement, mortar and plaster
- Digging, filling, levelling and other basic groundworks
- Basic demolition and removal of existing fixtures, fittings and materials
- Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately
- Moving and disposing of construction waste and keeping sites tidy
- Carrying out basic preparation work for decorating, plastering, carpentry and other trades
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment
The role is a permanent PAYE role including, holiday pay, SSP & company pension.
Hours: 07.45am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays optional.
We can also consider working on a CIS basis if preferred.
Rate of pay is dependent on experience.
