United Insolvency, an established and reputable insolvency practice based in Manchester, and Wigan. We are looking for a reliable and client-focused Aftercare Agent to join our growing Wigan office and provide ongoing support to clients once their debt solution is in place.
At United Insolvency, we specialise in ethical, compliant, and supportive debt solutions across the UK. Our Aftercare Team plays a vital role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clients feel supported throughout the duration of their arrangement.
Summary
As an Aftercare Agent, you will be responsible for supporting existing clients after their IVA or debt solution has been set up. You will handle queries, provide updates, and ensure clients clearly understand their obligations while feeling reassured and supported at all times.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a main point of contact for existing clients
- Handling inbound calls, emails, and online queries
- Providing clear and accurate information on case progress and next steps
- Updating and maintaining client records accurately
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries efficiently
- Identifying and escalating any concerns or risks appropriately
- Working in line with FCA and insolvency regulatory requirement
What we're looking for
- Experience in customer service, aftercare, financial services, or administration (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills with a calm and empathetic approach
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally
- Confident using CRM systems and general IT tools
- A team player with a client-first mindset
