Job Description: As an Electric Gate Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of automated electric gates. You will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are installed to the highest standards and function smoothly.
You would be expected to be able to run jobs on your own and organise your work days on your own where needed.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance checks and preventative measures to ensure gate functionality.
- Install, maintain, and repair electric gates, (tracked sliding, cantilever and swing) and associated access control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automated gate systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven 2 years experience as an Electric Gate Engineer.
- Knowledge of BFT, CAME, FAAC equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and automated gate technology.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Welding knowledge and experience are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are a plus.
