Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced <PERSON>/working foreman to lead and oversee construction projects with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise skilled tradespeople, and ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality craftsmanship and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Lead by example in the use of hand tools, power tools, masonry techniques
- Inspect work quality regularly to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
- Assign tasks to crew members based on skill levels and project requirements
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings
- Keep detailed records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours for accurate reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a working foreman or similar leadership role in construction or masonry projects
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, masony related skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid certifications or licenses relevant to construction supervision preferred but not mandatory
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
