Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Waitress and Non-Alcoholic Coffee Barista to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient service and expertly preparing a variety of non-alcoholic coffee beverages and knowledge of mocktails milkshakes and to make other drinks using syrups etc, if you've been working in starbucks or cafés it would be essential although any experience of waitering and knowledge of behind the bar is exceptable , our energy and passion for hospitality will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and appreciated. Whether taking orders, serving delicious drinks, or engaging with customers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every visit is memorable. This paid position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy making people’s days brighter.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, emphasizing our specialty non-alcoholic coffee drinks and food offerings
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring timely and correct service
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic coffee beverages, including specialty lattes, teas, smoothies, and other refreshments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, coffee station, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or friendliness
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous; familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- A genuine passion for guest services, hospitality, and creating welcoming environments
