Temporary Contract
This role is offered on a three-month temporary basis, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. A one-month notice period applies.
Job Purpose
Manufacture components through various assembly operations to required standard. To complete any finishing operations and processes required in preparation for final inspections.
Job Description
· Be able to work within set time scales to maintain our production output.
· Awareness and adherence to Health and Safety standards.
· Adherence to paperwork and procedures in line with our quality systems.
· To ensure Right First Time Quality and On Time in Full Delivery.
· To be confident in using handheld finishing tools and machines such as saws, pillar drills, guillotines, curing ovens and presses.
· To use a variety of handheld finishing tools and machines such as saws, pillar drills, guillotines, curing ovens and presses. Training will be provided.
Person Specification – Essential
· Work with flexibility within a team environment and demonstrate the ability for working on their own initiative.
· Responsible for the production of components within fine tolerance dimensions to a high-quality standard.
· Previously worked within a manufacturing environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
Person Specification – Desirable
· Able to understand dimensional drawing requirements.
· Able to understand geometrical drawings under the metric system.
· Use measuring instruments to maintain quality of produced parts.
