Overview
Part-time cleaner required to clean mobile units used by Road Repair. This energetic position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and professional space while working 2 hours per shift on Wednesday and Friday, 4 hours per week. We value attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude to ensure our facilities always shine.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of mobile units, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Maintain restrooms by sanitising fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene compliance
- Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal efficiently across all designated areas
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and presentation are impeccable
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively according to safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines for prompt resolution
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
