Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchens, dining areas, food preparation zones, storage rooms, and restrooms using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Sanitize surfaces, floors, appliances, utensils, and waste disposal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all food contact surfaces according to established protocols
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately
- Dispose of waste responsibly while adhering to recycling and waste management procedures
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to address specific cleaning needs during operational hours or after hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within food service environments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and health regulations related to food premises
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety practices
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled times
