Roofing Gear, part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), is looking for a Sales Supervisor to lead our Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with merchanting or roofing sector experience who enjoys building customer relationships, driving sales, and leading a successful team.

Lead and support the Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams.

Drive sales growth through proactive customer contact and quotation follow-up.

Build strong relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers.

Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profit targets.

Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Monitor sales performance using Power BI and branch reports.

Manage margins and ensure enquiries are processed efficiently.

Sales experience within a Roofing Merchant, Builders Merchant or Construction Supply environment.

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Team leadership or supervisory experience.

Good commercial awareness and margin management skills.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.

Roofing product knowledge is highly desirable.
