The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous).
- Teach one or more science disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics, depending on your specialism.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to promote productive learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student success.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality education.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
