Duties

- Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or concerns courteously.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of tables, utensils, and service areas.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to inform guests effectively.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and serving standards.
- Basic culinary understanding and kitchen experience are advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and presentation.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
