Job Title: National Account Coordinator
Working Hours: 37.5 hrs a week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm - half hour unpaid break
Salary: £25,250.16 per annum plus quarterly bonus
Overview: To assist our National Account sales team to help provide fast and accurate responses to our customers.
Responsible To: Director of Sales
Key Objectives and responsibilities:
- Assist the Account Manager to respond quickly, effectively and accurately to internal and external customers
- Progress and resolve any issues that may arise, with a hands on approach if needed
- Liaise between internal departments to achieve company and customer objectives
- Responsibility for all administration relating to specific National Accounts including responding to and prioritising a busy email inbox
- Update and send customer reports to key customer contacts according to weekly/monthly schedules
- Support the Account Manager with customer development plans including product launches, menu changes and new service requirements
- Support the mobilisation of new business, opening orders for existing customer's new sites
- Support the Account Manager in delivering results around any current business focus areas
- Support the Account Manager with day to day duties as needed
- Occasionally accompany the Account Manager to customer meetings
- Undertake continuous training to further product, industry and role specific knowledge
- Adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
Key Experience and Skills
- The successful candidate will have a proactive nature, with great organisational skills and have the ability to push forward multiple projects at once, sometimes under pressure
- Experience of communicating directly with the public and/or customers in a Customer Service orientated role is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word knowledge along with being numerate and literate
- Experience or demonstrable skills around presenting information professionally, and in a way that's easy to understand
- A good team player with a positive and professional outlook
- Experience of working in a hospitality or catering environment is desirable
