Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dental Therapist to join our dental team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care, assist with patient treatments, and support the overall function of the practice. Responsibilities
- Deliver preventative and restorative dental treatments under the supervision of a dentist
- Assist in patient examinations and prepare treatment areas efficiently
- Use CAD software for designing dental restorations and appliances as required
- Operate medical imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and sterilising equipment
Requirements
- recognised qualification as a Dental Therapist or equivalent
- Knowledge of CAD systems utilised in dental restorations
- Experience or familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends if required
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience, and to be confirmed during the interview process.
Working Days: Fridays only to start, with the opportunity to increase to additional days in the near future.
