Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualifird Choildren's Support Worker to lead our team in a 3 bed EBD home in Birkdale.
Working 2 on 3 off - £60 a sleep
Duties
- Assist young people with daily activities.
- Support YP'sin engaging with social activities and community outings
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Supervise and oversee the wellbeing of your staff taem and YP's ensuring safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Supervise staff, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times
- Use IT tools to update resident records and report any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce.
- Supervising experience in a children's setting
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining records and updating care plans
- Driving licence is preferred to support transportation duties if required
- Knowledge of Ofsted
